Cancellation policy

Accommodation, tour or activity #

Once you receive a reservation request for an accommodation, tour and/or activity, you have up to 24 hours to approve or decline it. From the moment you approve the reservation request, the guest has up to 24 hours to pay the corresponding deposit, otherwise the reservation will automatically expire.

If a guest makes a reservation at a property for a date more than 6 weeks in the future, the guest can choose to make the payment in two installments at no additional charge. In the unlikely event that the second final installment is not paid (on time) by the guest no later than five weeks before the reservation date, the reservation will be canceled and the rental fees -/- service fee will be paid to the provider and the accommodation will be released for reservations again. Paying in two installments does not apply to tours and activities.

A reservation can of course always be canceled, even by the guest. Mind you, at Fun Places there is no refund option. A placed and paid reservation is final, so you as a provider of an accommodation, tour or activity know exactly where you stand.

Rental vehicle #

To reserve a rental vehicle, the guest pays 10% of the reservation amount, excluding any deposit. The guest pays the remainder when he uses the rental vehicle.

Once the deposit has been made, the reservation is final and exists no possibility of refund.


Cancel reservation as a provider #

In your account in the reservation overview, you can click on the button with the eye icon when you receive a reservation. Here you will see the details of the reservation and you can cancel the reservation via the 'Cancel' button. Then a popup will open asking you if you are sure you want to cancel the reservation. If so, you must provide a reason for cancellation. This means your reservation has been cancelled.

The guest of the reserved item will be shown the specified reason.

Because it is important that guests have confidence in you as a provider, cancellations from the provider are checked by Fun Places and, where necessary, a fine may be imposed. Accepting a reservation means that the guest can trust that everything has been properly arranged and that a reservation cannot simply be canceled.


Own cancellation policy #

To offer guests uniformity, you can only use the Fun Places cancellation policy and so not draw up or use your own terms and conditions.
